1993 was a big year for Aboriginal Australians. Charles D Brooks, a black evangelist from the top-rated US TV program “Breath of Life” visited Moree NSW for series of 27 programs.
He was supported by Reginald O. Robinson and singers Ulanda Innocent and Francine Bell-Mills, as well as local aboriginal talent. The programs were lively, musical, friendly and, above all, full of the good old Adventist message.
The Outback Outreach event was sponsored by the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Ministries (ATSIM) department of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
