- The Miracle of the Seventh-day Ox is a small book containing a big story, one that will come up in your conversations with other people over and over. I have had parents of non-reading teen boys come to me, totally gob-smacked that their sons won't stop reading, and I've got friends who have shared it with their friends regardless of their faith persuasion. The first chapter or two nearly drove me mad, because I wanted to straighten out the sentences and correct the grammar, but once I chilled out this book had me in its grip. The other good thing is that it's a small book (a little larger than a notebook) and non-enthusiastic readers are less overwhelmed at the invitation.
