The Testimonies for the Church is like a handbook of spiritual knowledge suited to all classes. I see them as a beacon of light in a world that has grown altogether dark - in a spiritual sense. They are inspired writings, but do not supersede the Bible, but to get the inspiration, even from a single page, would require hours of Bible study. Used for private study and contemplation they set out our individual position as regards to eternal reality and going without them would be like walking in a fog. I think the human race has drifted so far from God that we are nearly incapable of telling right from wrong. I love the testimonies and I hope that you will have the same experience.
